Die ATPS19-Serie ist so gestaltet, dass sie vorsätzlicher Beschädigung und Vandalismus standhält, was wiederum den Bedarf an kostspieligen Reparaturen vor Ort und Produktrückrufen reduzieren kann. Die neuen Schalter sind nicht nur widerstandsfähig gegenüber Vandalismus, sondern weisen auch viele Eigenschaften anderer ATP-Schalter der Reihe auf, darunter ein geringes Gewicht, Schutzart IP67 und Korrosionsbeständigkeit. Da die Geräte, die diesen Schalter nutzen, häufig in Außenbereichen eingesetzt werden, ist der Schalter so gestaltet, dass er extremen Umgebungsbedingungen und Wasser standhält.
